how to creat new partition

hello sir

 

sir i have

/dev/cciss/codop1                        487 mb          /boot

/dev/mapper/vo;group00-logvo2      245 gb           /

/dev/ampper/vogroup00-logvo1      9.5 gb            /tmp

 

that means /boot is primmary and 2 lvm in one lvm / is present and other lvm tmp is present.

so i want to creat one more partition /vol . but we don't have free space so how can i do this .

if i resize then their is chances of data loss.
