Hi,
probably not a parted problem, but maybe You can give some hints ...
A customer returned a 4TB hd-drive ...
The physical blocksize of the disk is 4k (as stated by the manufacturer
and according to the output of smartctl -a <device>).
Interestingly, the driver in the linux kernel reports a physical
blocksize of 512 and so does parted ... logical: 512 / physical: 512.
Any ideas if / where this problem could be corrected ?
Regards, Roger
Versions:
parted 3.1
linux 3.2.33
smartctl 5.42 r3458
