Ok, I will start hacking.
Translators have '\0's in them to separate arguments, is this ok for
usage in tar?
An example would be:
/hurd/ext2fs\0/dev/hd0s3
Where the \0 is the ASCII value 0.
There are two other things that need to be included in a tar archive
for the Hurd:
- Another set of "rwx"-bits.
- Support for authors (similar to a user or a group).
I won't do this because I don't think it is important yet, I'm just
mentioning this because it might be useful to know this should be
(IMHO) added eventually.
