I cannot find the "SEE ALSO" string anywhere inside "info as".  What
version of as.info (from what Binuitils release) did you use?

"SEE ALSO" is usually a header in man pages; is it possible that Info
actually displayed a manual page?  (However, the GDB traceback doesn't
show that the man page was displayed, so this theory seems to be
wrong.)

FWIW, whatever I did with "info as", I couldn't crash Info.

Please give me something reproducible to work with ;-).
