Probably, I'll fix it.  However, it's still non-intuitive that adding

You're right.

Isn't that a bit academic?  If you run texi2dvi without the --clean,
TeX will distroy those files (.log, .aux) for you?  Storing
precious information in foo.aux or foo.log, together with a foo.tex
file in one directory is not a clever move.
