However, I couldn't reproduce the problem on my system.  So I suggest
to upgrade to the latest version 4.2 of Info (get texinfo-4.2.tar.gz
from ftp.gnu.org), and see whether the problem persists.  If it does,
please describe the details: the precise setting of INFOPATH, the
command you typed to invoke Info, and any keys you pressed inside
Info until it crashed.
