The files which are new to or missing from texinfo-4.2 compared to 4.1 are
"recorded" in texinfo-4.1-4.2.diff.gz as "Only in texinfo-4.x: filename". So
a
texinfo-4.2 updated from 4.1 fails to build because of at least missing
fdl.texi and i18n files. Looks like a missing patch -N option to me.
