What can I say? One of these days you'll run into a strict POSIX
1003.1-2001 system. I suppose you can wait until then. But you have
the patch now.
These days I'm working with a new box on my desk at work that boots
and runs GNU/Linux. Its external dimensions are 120x170x30mm and it
weighs 282 grams.
This box has grep, but it lacks egrep and fgrep.
Admittedly I don't use this box to run Texinfo. (yet :-)
