pagebreak not generated with empty deftypefuns in texinfo-4.2

Hi,
I've encountered a small problem upgrading to texinfo-4.2

I have a texinfo chapter which consists of a lot of function
prototypes, each defined with a @deftypefun .. @end deftypefun.  The
functions have prototypes but no description.

In texinfo-4.2 the defuns end up on a single (very long) page -- TeX
seems unable to insert any page breaks.  The page breaks came out ok
in texinfo 4.0, and the functions were spread over several pages.
