Bug in @printindex

I'm using @defop and @defmethod in a document I'm writing for a MOO.
The bug I'm seeing is that when I use texi2pdf *or* virtex and then
dvipdf, the auto-created index (created useing @printindex fn,
presumably auto-populated by the @def commands) looks like this:

C
classNameon MozBase . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 7
createObjecton Storage . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 8
O
objectRefFromRecordon Storage . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 9
ozNameon MozBase . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 7

i.e. there is no space between the name and the class it's stored on.

Thanks for your time.

-Robin
PS: I'm not on this list, so cc's are appreciated.
