Nice to hear from you and the Press.

            I would like to know what is the best way to get these features
    accepted

Please just send along the patches to bug-texinfo and I will look at
them right away.  Both features have been requested a number of times
before (especially the one for fonts).  I'm glad you've implemented
them, I will be very interested to see the details.
