The only concern with it is that I do not preserve what
\everypar is set to.
I think what you did is ok. If we start using \everypar more seriously,
we can worry about then.
The only problem I see is that `surpress' is not a word; you meant
`supress' :) :). (No, you don't have to resubmit the patch :)
I'll incorporate this into texinfo.tex later today or tomorrow.
