Yes, GCC is kind of a different beast here; I also try to avoid this
build stuff whereever I can. ;-)
It should, however, work to just .../configure GCC and then do a `make
info` or `make dvi`.

BTW, from www.gnu.org/software/texinfo/ there is no reference to your
CVS sources; is this intentional?
