bug in texinfo

Hi,
I think I found a bug in Texinfo. When I want to cross-reference and press the 
'F' key and then want to cancel it with Ctrl-G, the Texinfo crashes with some 
SIGSEGV Memory Access error (I am afraid I am using a localisation and do not 
know how to translate the message exactly).

I am using Debian GNU/Linux 3.0 - Woody and the version of Debian Texinfo 
package is 4.1-2.

Hope this will be useful for you. I am sorry - I am no programmer so I cannot 
fix it myself and send you the solution.
