Thanks for the report.

I suspect the bug depends on the exact localization you are using.
Please tell me what environment variables you have set to what values?
It may also depend on which info file you were reading, so please tell
me that too.

Finally, it might well have been fixed since 4.1; the current texinfo
release is 4.5, which you can get from ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/texinfo, if
you are able and willing to try it.
