I've gone back and forth on this (in my mind).  I know it's inconsistent
with chapters, as it stands now.

      What about this layout:

How amusing, after all our discussions.  Well, Stepan and/or I will
re-examine the axioms in light of this reality and get back to avoiding
the bad break there.  More soon ...
