    Still, it results in a segv you might want to track:

    ~ % LC_ALL=C src/texinfo/makeinfo/makeinfo --commands-in-node-names  
assignments.texi

Thanks, this was easy to fix, and I did so.

    BTW, Valgrind seems not to like makeinfo too much:
