Yes it will, what I was trying to say was that makeinfo -E cannot simply
ignore the @if... conditionnals. Currently it does the right thing. Maybe
it could be changed in the future, but this would be a big change.
The example I made can be rewritten to accomodate with @macro
expansion ignoring @if.. conditionnals:
@macro expand
@iftex
...
@end iftex
@ifnottex
.....
@end ifnottex
@end macro
