Re: old Texinfo versions

    Is there another place where I can find old versions ?

I've put the 4.1 distribution at:
ftp://texinfo.org/texinfo/knowngood/texinfo-4.1.tar.gz
aka
http://texinfo.org/ftp/knowngood/texinfo-4.1.tar.gz

(There are also diffs between just about all versions there.)

    When will they be back on ftp.gnu.org ?

I never kept more than the latest version there as a .tar.gz, per
maintain.texi.  ("The purpose of prep is not to store old versions." :)
I'll see if I can put them on savannah somewhere.  If not, I can
certainly put them on texinfo.org.

The diffs will be restored whenever bkuhn/rao find the time to restore
them, I guess.
