Thanks for the report.

Alper Ersoy has made many, many fixes to the XML, HTML, and Docbook
outputs from makeinfo (among other changes).  If you want to try it
before the next release (bug reports always appreciated), you can try
the current sources from CVS.

There will also be some pretest releases before 4.7.  You can subscribe
