The links to @sections generated in my table of contents only ever point
to the start of the node (nodes kept in separate files) and not to the
@section itself.
Sorry, I don't understand. What's the difference between the "section
itself" and the start of the node, if you're generating split output?
BTW, you might try the latest release anyway (4.6), on general
