Thanks for the suggestion, but it almost seems cleaner to me to do this
with sed or tr.  An option seems like unnecessary complexity, and I'm
not sure it'd be good to include the ^L by default.  Although it sounds
fairly harmless.  Hmm.

It's presumably better to print plain text (or dvi/pdf :) output than
Info files anyway, to avoid sending control characters to printers.  I
realize that's not always convenient, though.  I've printed Info files
myself, on occasion.
