I've included texinfo.tex in lilypond for now.
Good. My recommendation is for all distributions to include the latest
texinfo.tex at the time of their release.
install texinfo.tex -d $(kpsewhich texinfo.tex)
That could end up overwriting, say, /usr/share/texmf/blah/blah/texinfo.tex,
even when prefix was configured to be /usr/local.
I just don't know any good way to accomplish it.
