nonexistent accent combinations

I tend to believe that the following behavior is best called a bug.
But one could argue one day someone might invent a meaningful
interpretation of what I had naively copy-pasted, but the most
probable result is that What-You-Get-Is-Not-What-You-Expected, and a
warning would be most welcome IMHO.
