Hi Ed -- thanks for the report.  I can reproduce this against 4.6, but
it seems to be fixed in the current sources.

We're getting close to the next release.  If you like, please try the
latest pretest at http://texinfo.org/pretest/ftp/texinfo.tar.bz2 (or .gz).
