    In warning and error messages, the quoting style varies between `foo'
    and "foo".  I suggest to make this consistent.

I see only one occurrence of "..." in makeinfo (in an internal error
msg), but a number of occurrences in info.  I tried to change them all
to `...' (despite standards, sorry).  If you notice any others, let me
know ...
