I seem to recall discussing this before, the idea of removing all
existing info files when new ones are installed (in case there are
fewer), but I'm not having luck digging it up right now.
In any case, what do you think of the idea? I think it would have to be
done in Automake, at least I don't see how any of the Texinfo tools can
affect this.
It'll probably come up with most distributions, as we changed the default
info file size a couple of texinfo releases ago, so where there were 10
files before there would be about 2 now.

Builds of texinfo-4.7 went find, but I noticed that the installation procedure
failed to remove the /usr/local/info/texinfo-* files from earlier releases.
I cleaned them out manually.
