    Hi Karl :)

Thanks a lot for answering :)

Doing it that way doesn't fail, I should have tested it :(( I do
it running info make; after that, and using the tab, I select node
'Rules', after that, using tab too, I select node 'Static Pattern',
and within it, using tab again to go to the node, I select node
'Static Usage'. Then it shows the node at 20% instead of '--Top--'.

When I say 'select node', I mean putting the cursor on the node
using the Tab and pressing return, I don't use a mouse.

I'm running a do-it-yourself Linux box (or GNU/Linux, as you
prefer), kernel 2.4.25, libc 2.2.4 and texinfo 4.7 all compiled by
myself.

The entire set occupies 500k, and using only the make.info-3
(48k) as in 'info -n "Static Pattern" -f make.info-3' doesn't fail :(

If you can reproduce the bug as I stated above, there is no need
to send such a huge load. Otherwise I'll try to isolate the problem
here using gdb and older versions of Info, for testing if the problem
persists or not, or even 'pinfo', another info reader out there. If
I'm not be able to fix it and send a patch, then I'll look for a way
of sending you those info files (500k, but 97k compressed in a
tarball+bzip2).

Thanks for your interests, free software is fantastic for this
kind of attentions :))
