Perhaps they'll just start work in captions the same way as in other
parts of @float, ie. the footnote is placed at the bottom of the
page where the @float is defined.
Sounds ok.
If the float goes to another page, the footnote stays behind...
That is very bad, but since floats don't float yet, it's not an issue :).
OTOH, if the @float is known to be placed "here", it moght be useful
to have a @footnote (or a margin note) inside it.
Yeah. I think we could issue a warning if, when we start floating the
floats, there is a footnote. Until then, better to support them than
not to support them, if it's not too hard.
