That is good, but there is still a problem with \ in @copying.  It
prints as a `` (since that's \char92 in cmr10).  Would you like to work
on that :)?  Not that it's urgent.

Everything else works (surprisingly).  All those catcode assignments
should be unified somehow, sigh.
