Category: info
Release: 4.7
Priority: Normal
Severity: 5 - Average
Item Group: bug
Privacy: Public
Status: Closed
Assigned to: None
Resolution: None
Summary: crashes on walking backward with [
Original Submission: If you walk through the document with the [ key, info has
a high probability of crashing with a segfault. Just jump to any node in the
middle of a file like emacs.info, and press [, or press ] often and then [ a
couple of times.
This is really easy to reproduce, and the crash can happen in different
locations, so I spare you the backtraces. It seemed to me that internal data
structures get corrupted (usually it crashed trying to resolve "entry" derived
from a menu[i]).
