Sure, that's why I have to preprocess the docs with `makeinfo -E'
before passing them to TeX :^)

Yes, I know. It is a leftover from the previous maintainer. I guess the
reason for such usage was that it facilitates maintenance (e.g. if some
node changes its name, one does not have to grep through the source and
rename all the instances of xrefs for this node). Possibly I'll revert
to the normal usage in the future.
