I don't think so.  Compare this C compilers, for example: It provides
the #pragma directive to specifically suppress warnings if the user
wishes to do so.  In the particular case of `note' I don't see any
other good solution.

Of course it will, somehow.  But this misses the point.  Having the
`note' warning is a useful thing in general but it's annoying that I
can't suppress it for the cases where it is completely nonsense.  It
is a matter of fact that the English word `note' has more than a
single meaning.  I'm quite sure that the author of this makeinfo
warning has never thought of the musical meaning.
