>From time to time, I find myself annoyed that there is (as far as
I know) no way to automatically determine the dependencies of a
Texinfo document. I'm considering implementing an option (or set
of them) for makeinfo that would enable automatically outputting
a Makefile rule for dependencies instead of, or in addition to,
makeinfo's output.
Does this sound like a good idea? If done well, would it have a
chance at being included upstream?
