The CVS version "texi2dvi (GNU texinfo 4.9) 1.102" does fix the original
problem, that of "-o" causing a failure.

However, I noticed this problem because it was causing automake-1.10 to
fail "make check", and unfortunately the problem tests still fail under
the new texi2dvi, albeit for different reasons now.

Previously, "txinfo13", "txinfo21", "txinfo23" all failed due to the first
bug. Now, "txinfo13" and "txinfo23" fail with:

ERROR: files left in build directory after distclean:
./main.dvi
make[1]: *** [distcleancheck] Error 1

("txinfo21" is now SKIP because I don't have pdftex installed.)

I notice that the current version always builds the .dvi file under it's
default name, and then copies it into the "-o" specified position if that
is different, leaving the default-name file in place. I think
automake is objecting to that, expecting only one copy of the .dvi file
to exist after texi2dvi runs.
