I'm saying if you update your texinfo.tex, the error will go away.  (In
fact, I made this change precisely for the libc manual, when I
regenerated the online version and hit the same error.)

Ignore my further blather about Texinfo design.  It doesn't matter for
your purposes.  There is nothing to report.(*)

(*) Except that Texinfo's @defun stuff is a big mess, which I already
know, so you don't need to report it again :).
