1. Sounds sensible to add an xref to info-stnd to the Top node of
info.info. I'll do that. (I'm not entirely sure if that's what was
being suggested, too many pronouns.)
2. I don't think renaming info-stnd to info makes sense, as we already
discussed. (Also, it's not up to me.) We did change info --usage info
(in 4.12) to show info-stnd, as you may recall. I don't see any
other practical change tomake.
3. Surely most new users reading the documentation want to learn how to
read Info documents. That is precisely what "info info" will tell them.
4. No doubt info-stnd could use work, and volunteers are welcome. It is
nowhere on my list.
