Dear TeX Live people,
Down here in the Debian Bug Tracking system we got a call, telling
that the -l option does not work as expected. It is made to determine
the language syntax used in the input file. texi2dvi --help and the
manual page say:
-l, --language=LANG specify the LANG of FILE (LaTeX or Texinfo)
--no-line-error do not pass --file-line-error to TeX
Hence people try to use "LaTeX" and "Texinfo", but "latex" and
"texinfo" have to be used. I tested on 4.11 but there was no change
in 4.12.
Full bug on http://bugs.debian.org/472758 .
Thanks,
Hilmar
