4.12.91 - info thinks man-page lines are longer than 78 chars

Using version 4.12.91, when info does not find an Info document and 
falls back to a man page, info sometimes puts backslashes in or 
before column 78 (seldom in column 79), even though none of the 
lines exceed 78 characters.  Version 4.11 did not do this (but 
instead misshowed hyphens).  See for example 'info man'.

This is on an 80-column Konsole, or on a 100-column VT narrowed 
with 'stty cols 80'.
