@setfilename: for info only?

Hello bug-texinfo readers,

made me wonder what @setfilename is intended for; the texinfo manual
doesn't seem to be too explicit about this.  Is it meant to name the
.info file only, or also serve as base to any or some of the HTML, DVI,
PDF, .txt outputs?

I'm considering adjusting Automake's rules to adhere to what Texinfo
states here, to improve this issue.
