I don't disagree, but the standalone Info should also be fixed to find
the <N> entries.  Sergey, are you there?

      info texinfo --index refill
      info texinfo --index address@hidden
   neither of which worked

Another bug: --index should search all the indexes (the "refill" entry
is in the function index).  I thought it did.  Sergey, would you like to
look at that too?
