It is inside a Debian package^1. I had a look at the source package^2.
it contains an accounting.info, which is modified during the build
process using a patch by the Debian maintainer. I can't tell, why the
patch is applied, it seems that patch causes the problem.

Anyway the info page of the Debian unstable version does not cause
the problem, so the bug in the info page itself seems to be solved.
