No. The documentation snippet you've quoted in a previous mail is
already present in version 4.13 (slightly reworded).

Well, with texinfo.tex from 4.13 `\q' works, with current CVS it
doesn't.

Sorry for being imprecise, I've meant the `new' makeinfo, this is,
Patrice's perl version.
