In the upcoming reimplementation, the XML is very different. For this
case it leads to:
<float name="tab_003atab2" type="Table" spaces=" " endspaces="
"><floattype>Table</floattype><floatname spaces=" ">tab:tab2</floatname>
Hopefully this somehow fixes the isue you report...
