I converted the Emacs documentation to be compatible with Texinfo 5.0, here: http://bzr.savannah.gnu.org/lh/emacs/trunk/revision/111840 but there's one file I couldn't easily convert, and would like either advice about what to do, or a fix to Texinfo so that it handles this file correctly. The file is the TRAMP User Manual. To reproduce the problem, save the three attached files doclicense.texi, tramp.texi, and trampver.texi into a directory, and run the shell command: makeinfo -o t.info tramp.texi This works fine with Texinfo 4.13, but Texinfo 5.0 issues many diagnostics; see the attached file zerr.txt. Apparently Texinfo 5.0 doesn't like this macro definition: @macro xxx address@hidden @set address@hidden @end macro but as I am not a Texinfo expert I don't know what the macro definition is supposed to do, or why Texinfo 5.0 doesn't like it. Can you please advise? Thanks.
