    What went wrong?

I bcc'd coordinator on all pretest and official release announcements.
Maybe the bcc made the messages not be seen?  But I'm pretty sure I've
done that in the past.  And I know other maintainers do.

    shouldn't the absence of incoming updated translations have
    triggered an "ehm..."?

Well, it did occur to me to ping you from time to time, but given the
rather lackadaisical response from most teams (excluding you), I always
decided just to keep on waiting.  I didn't want to unnecessarily pester
your inboxes when it was just awaiting time to be processed, either.
Which also happened in the past.

Anyway, sorry, but at least it should presumably straighten itself out
quickly enough now.
