Hi,

I'm in the process of adopting the texi2html package in Debian. I've
updated it to version 5.0 but it unfortunately fails the base_tests:

    [...]
    D: diffs/verb_and_char_end_of_line_info.diff
    D: diffs/verb_and_char_end_of_line_all.diff

    invalid: 1
    FAIL: base_tests

    dh_auto_test: make -j1 check returned exit code 2
    make: *** [build] Error 29

I've tried manually running the 'invalid' test via "./tests.sh all
invalid", but didn't get any test failed message. If someone could help
me in debugging this issue (i.e., what causes the test to fail?), I'd be
very grateful.

You'll find attached a full log of
    ./configure && make && make -j1 check
run in a clean/pristine extraction of the 5.0 tarball.

Best wishes,
Ryan
