By the way, in the fragment «with the Front-Cover texts
Ah, that lowercase t should be a capital T Texts. I fixed it in
info-stnd.texi. info.texi has to be fixed in Emacs, if not already done.
maybe s/texts/text/ and s/Texts/text/,
No, *-Cover Texts is a techno-legal term from the FDL.
and s/as.*ow/being "You have the freedom to copy and
modify this GNU manual."./ and then drop (a).
No, the manuals are following the recommendation in the GNU maintainers
guide (gnu.org/prep/maintain), as specified by rms. It's done that way
because of the way the FDL works.
