                 Summary: Links in man pages point to other man pages even if
info available
                 Project: texinfo - GNU documentation system
            Submitted by: siegel

                Category: info
                 Release: Version 5.2
                Priority: 5 - Normal
                Severity: 3 - Normal
              Item Group: bug
                 Privacy: Public
             Open/Closed: Open
             Assigned to: None
         Discussion Lock: Any
                  Status: None

Details:

To reproduce:

  Run
    $ info cut

  Navigate to "ls invocation" (for example using "uumls")

  Confirm it shows "File: coreutils.info, Node: ls invocation"

  Run
    $ info column

  Confirm it shows "File: *manpages*, Node: column"

  Navigate to "SEE ALSO" at the end.

  Follow the link to "ls".

  Confirm it shows "File: *manpages*, Node: ls(1)"

At this point, it should show
"File: coreutils.info,  Node: ls invocation".

We have opened related info pages 'cut' and 'column',
then navigated the info pages, to reach the same page, 'ls'.

For that reason, we can expect to end up on the same page.

A possible solution is to map links to man pages into links to info pages if
available.
