A call to /usr/bin/texi2dvi fails because of bashism:
/usr/bin/texi2dvi: 132: /usr/bin/texi2dvi: Syntax error: Bad function
name
I think the function "local ()" is not part of posix-sh.
Tested with:
texinfo-4.13 on a amd64 Gentoo Linux with dash as sh
